Although not quite what we did it as a group for project three I do like what you have going here. I find the top one to be the most compelling. To make it even stronger I would make sure that all of the squares were exactly the same and lined up perfectly with the same gaps between them. Remember to make a perfect square, you hold down the shift key while you click and drag.
