Project 5: The Radial Letterform - Still, T

For this project, I selected the letter "M". It is the first letter of my nickname, Missy, and I thought the design would be more interesting than the first letter of my first name.

Here is the letter M rotated six times over 360 degrees.


Next is the first image copied on top of itself and rotated an additional 30 degrees. For the letter M, I found I had to increase the canvas size by 50% to make sure the flares were not cut off.


These are my two inversed images. My favorite part of the design is how the dots in the center alternate.
